are you going to heaven?
Sooner or later we will all be leaving this world one way or the other. When it is your time to go, will you be ready? Do you know for sure that heaven will be your home?
What the bible says about getting to heaven.
No matter what you may think, the bible tells us that every single person that ever lived has a sin nature and a sin problem and this includes you. This means we have broken some of Gods rules and laws and it's becuase of this that we are unrighteous (unclean, unacceptable or currupt) in God's eyes and God, being holy and just, is obligated to judge and punish the wicked sinner. The punishment is death, and eternal seperation from God our Creator BUT there is GOOD NEWS! God has made a way for us to be free of our sin and to be with him in heaven forever!
we are all sinners and our sin will keep us from going to heaven.
"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." - Romans 3:23
No matter how good you think you are, God tells us in his word that we have all sinned against him. We have all broken a commandment or rule that God has give us. It may have been stealing, lying, or simply having an impure thought but regardless of what we have done against him, it has caused us to have sin in our lives making us unworthy to be in God's precense. This means we are wicked sinners.
"The wages of sin is death..." - Romans 6:23
The Bible tells us that we earn something for sin which is death. It is because of sin, and our nature to commit sin that we are destined to die. The bible tells us
"it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgement: - Hebrews 9:27
This simply means that once we die we will be judged of God for our sins. If we are guilty (whcih the bible tells us we are) then we will be cast out of God's precense into outer darkeness and a lake fire which God has prepard for the devil and his followers.
God does not want to punish you.
The bible tells us that God loves us and does not want anyone to suffer eternal death and punishment and becuase he loves us, he has made a way for us to be free of sin and the penalty of sin.
The bible says:
"For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth on him should not persih but have everlasting life." - John 3:16
God sent his son Jesus to the earth to die for us as a perfect sinless sacrifice for the entire world. Jesus was the only one to ever live a sinless, perfect life and becuase of that, the blood that he shed when he was crucified (put to death on the cross) is the only thing that God the Father will accept as a payment for your sin. When Jesus was put to death he was placed in a grave but came back to life and rose up from that grave three days later and defeated death for all people who will trust and believe on him.
Jesus christ is your only hope
We are told that if we believe in who Jesus is and what he has done for us through his death, burial and resurection, then we shall be saved from eternal punishment in Hell which we deserve for our sin.
The bible tells us
"That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved."
- Romans 10:9
We are told that all we have to do is to trust in the fact that God has not only sent his son Jesus to die for our sins, he has given Jesus the power over death and he has raised him up from the grave and that anyone who belives this will be saved from eternal punishment and damnation in Hell.
DEAR FRIEND, PLEASE ANSWER THESE IMPORTANT QUESTIONS RIGHT NOW...
1. Do you understand that you are sinner before God?
2. Do you understand that all sinners will be punished in Hell, a place of torment for ever?
3. Have you ever admitted to God that you are a sinner?
4. If so, are you truly sorry for your offenses?
5. If you are, have you ever asked God in the name of Jesus Christ to take your sin and guilt away through the blood of Jesus? If you have never done this, please take a moment to do it RIGHT HERE AND NOW!! If you die without ever trusting in Jesus Christ and asking him for forgiveness you will not be allowed in heaven, you will end up in Hell.
It is our sincere hope that you uderstand your need to admit to God that you are a sinner who deserves punishment. We are praying that you will confess your sin to God in Heaven and believe that he has sent His son Jesus to pay the penalty for you sin through his death, burial and resurection.
